Brian has played rec, competitive, and high school soccer. His greatest success on the field was starting in goal for back-to-back state championship teams at Bountiful High School. During high school he was named an all-state player and team MVP. He helped continue the success at BHS as a coach during the boys’ 2013 state championship run, as well as the girls’ first runner up finish that year.

Brian has been training goalkeepers for 10 years through his goalkeeping company, TIP Goalkeeping. He has been director of goalkeeping for multiple clubs in Utah over the years, including Wasatch SC, MetaSport FC, UDA, and Saratoga Springs FC. Since 2018 he has also been the Director of Goalkeeping for all public GK camps offered by Real Salt Lake. In all these capacities Brian also runs individual and group sessions separately in an effort to reach as many athletes as possible.
